Ecozzie was born during the pandemic as an academic project, created to share simple and practical tips for caring for the environment. What began as coursework soon grew into a personal passion project that continued as a blog in the years after.
The turning point came when our founder started her own garden. While learning to care for each plant, she noticed a gap: there was no simple way to track plant history — watering, repotting, blooming, or challenges along the way. Out of this need, Ecozzie transformed from a blog into a digital tool designed to make plant care easier.
Today, Ecozzie is more than a personal project. It’s growing into a platform for anyone who loves plants — from balcony gardeners and hobbyists to schools and botanical gardens. Our mission is simple: to make it easier to care for plants, to learn from them, and to grow together.
Our mission is to make plant care simple, personal, and accessible — empowering people to track, learn, and grow with their plants, while helping plant lovers, schools, and gardens keep a living history of every plant.
